Nilachal Refractories Limited (NRL) the erstwhile IPIBEL Refractories – a JV of IPICOL and TATA Group, has an installed capacity of 28,000 MT and has been manufacturing the entire spectrum of Fire Clay, High Alumina, Mortars, Monolithic Castables, Refractory Bricks of special shapes for Iron and Steel, Aluminium, Cement and other applications.

NRL has been taken over since December 2005 and is jointly owned by Jiwanram Sheoduttrai Group. The owners together have a history of over 80 years in handling Refractories and servicing the Refractory consuming industry.

The plant is located in the State of Orissa and the range of products manufactured by us covers :

• Fireclay and High Alumina Refractories for Blast Furnaces (furnace proper and stoves) Coke ovens, steel teeming ladles, reheating furnaces, continuous casting units and refractories for non-ferrous industries.
• Spall resistant bricks for severe thermal shock areas
• High alumina abrasion resistant refractories (upto 80% Al2O3) for electric arc furnces and steel ladles
• Slide plate accessories
• Alumina chrome bricks for slag zone of steel ladles
• 60% to 80% alumina bauxite based refractories for cement rotary kilns
